La Tablée des Chefs takes the BN Open by storm!
La Tablée des Chefs teamed up with the Reine Elizabeth Catering and Société traiteur to recover surplus food at the prestigious National Bank Open.
With the help of hard-working volunteers, the team collected surplus food from the dressing rooms and donated it to local organizations such as La Maison de Quartier Villeray, the Salvation Army, Centre Booth, Le Pirate Vert and La cafétéria Communautaire Multicaf. These are all organizations that help people living in food insecurity.
Thanks to this mobilization, nearly 8 tonnes of food were saved! Or, more concretely, 26,245 portions!
