Activities
At our Solidarity Culinary Activities, your task will be to assist the person in charge on site to ensure that everything runs smoothly (kitchen support, setting up kitchen islands, setting the table, serving, washing up, service).
Kitchen
Take part in the Solidarity Soups project, preparing soups from unsold food to provide food aid to school-age children. Tasks are varied and simple, such as washing, peeling and chopping vegetables, washing dishes, putting soups in containers, gluing labels, and helping the chefs with other tasks as needed.
Administrative
You'll have the opportunity to support some of our daily administrative activities, such as sorting and receiving materials and food, taking inventory, maintaining cooking school materials and equipment, physical tasks, data entry, and telephone follow-ups, among others.
Events
Many of our activities take place at special events across Quebec (warehouse work, Les Grandes Tablées, food recovery at major events, etc.).

Testimonials
Being part of the volunteer team at La Tablée des Chefs allows me to feel useful by contributing to a cause close to my heart: enabling people in need to feed themselves properly. Volunteering at La Tablée des Chefs is supported by a team of professional, motivated and generous people. Also, you get to meet other volunteers who share the same values of mutual aid and who want to have fun "working"! In short, I get as much out of this experience as I give!
Wow, what a great experience to be on this side of the table and help feed Quebec a little. It was a gratifying and most enjoyable experience to work alongside the exciting and enthusiastic chef Caroline Giguère and her team in the kitchens and at the various events. The beneficiaries of the Île d'Orléans volunteer association (ABIO, where I work as a volunteer), who receive emergency supplies, greatly appreciate the contribution of La Tablée des Chefs.
Having always been very spoiled by life, for me volunteering at La Tablée des Chefs, surrounded by a wonderful team, is a gesture of solidarity; it's giving back to the next person! It brings me a lot.
