Your Support Contributes to Local Initiatives
Since the beginning of our collaboration with Ottawa Tourism in 2024, our Food Recovery program has truly taken off in the National Capital Region. In fact, since 2025, more than 400,000 meals have been recovered from our donors (including hotels, healthcare facilities, and sports venues) and redistributed to organizations that support people in need.

Although the Solidary Kitchens – Next Generation Edition and Solidary Kitchens programs existed beforehand, since 2025 they have enabled us to prepare and distribute more than 25,000 meals to local community organizations.

Since the launch of our programs in the region, more than 2,000 young people have been introduced to cooking and healthy eating habits through our Kitchen Brigades, Cook Up Your Future – School, and Cook Up Your Future – Youth Protection Services programs.

As a Director at R.I.S.E. Academy, I have been incredibly impressed by the impact of Les Tables des Chefs’ Kitchen Brigades program for the youth participatin. We have seen students grow not only in their culinary abilities, but also in responsibility, communication, and self-esteem. Kitchen Brigades has become much more than a cooking program — it is a pathway for youth to discover their strengths, explore future opportunities, and build skills that will serve them for life.
The collaborative efforts of all those involved in the food production of over 2,100 meals are truly commendable. La Tablée des Chefs and the student and faculty volunteers demonstrated remarkable kindness and generosity.
I believe their contribution impacted the community in a positive way. The prepared meals will feed vulnerable people in the Ottawa area who are seeking emergency food assistance.
