At the end of this colorful match, $117,418 was donated to La Tablée des Chefs. An equivalent amount was also donated to The Canadiens Children's Foundation.

For this special game, the finalists in the Kitchen Brigades inter-school competitions made numerous bags of dry soup. They were also treated to a guided tour of the Bell Centre before heading to a box to watch the friendly confrontation.
