The Kitchen Brigades Family Competition
Since the the Kitchen Brigades inter-school competitions had to be canceled this year, La Tablée des Chefs team is offering this year a UNIQUE edition: The Kitchen Brigades Family Competition!
All the students of the Kitchen Brigades in Quebec were invited to participate in this competition, and we received a lot of applications! Four young chefs have been selected, along with their families, to participate in the Final on Facebook, hosted by Marina Bastarache! Which will emerge as the big winner? The judges, Ricardo and Jonathan Lapierre-Réhayem, will decide! The public will also be asked to vote for their favorite brigade, and the winners of the offline component of the competition will also be announced during the live broadcast!

OFFICIAL RULES:
1. DURATION OF THE COMPETITION
1.1. The Kitchen Brigades Family Competition is held by La Tablée des Chefs (the “Organizer”).
1.2. Registration for the competition begins Tuesday June 2, 2020 at 00 h 01 and ends on Saturday June 11, 2020 at 23 h 59 (the "Contest Period").
1.3. The Kitchen Brigades Family Competition will take place on June 20, 2020.
2. PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS
The participant must comply with the following conditions:
● the brigade leader must be between 12 and 17 years old on June 5, 2020 and having attended the Kitchen Brigades workshops during the 2019-2020 school year;
● the other members of his brigade (family) must reside at the same address;
● reside in the province of Quebec;
● submit two photos. the photo of a dish created by the participant (s) (any copy of an existing recipe will be disqualified) and the photo of the participating team;
● complete the participation form including photos showing the prepared dish and a video (if applicable).
● Participants can only participate once.
3. PRICES
3.1. First places (value of 1100$)
3.1.1. Gourmet meal, overnight stay and lunch at the Institut de tourisme et d’hôtellerie du Québec, for a family of 4 (value of $ 600)
3.1.2. Gift card at IGA (value of $ 500)

The Prizes cannot be converted into cash or transferable and must be accepted as described. The winner's refusal to accept the prize releases the Organizer from any obligation towards him.
4. DESIGNATION OF WINNERS
4.1. A jury made up of the Organizer's employees will select the winners based on the following criteria: creativity, techniques and cooking, balanced plate (according to Canada's Food Guide 2019), visual presentation and the teenager's involvement . The jury will also designate participants or brigades who will receive a participation price according to the quality and originality of their application.
4.2. A minimum of 5 participants or brigades will be named winners or win a participation prize on the photo participation component and will receive a prize. The names of the winners will be announced on June 20 during the live event. The names of the winners of the participation prizes will be announced on June 20.
4.3. The best brigades will be chosen to participate in the live competition according to the following criteria: creativity, techniques and cooking, balanced plate (according to the 2019 Canadian food guide), visual presentation, ease with the camera and technical requirements. They will be selected and contacted between June 12 and 16, 2020. Among these, a minimum of one grand winner will be selected by a jury made up of employees of the Organizer, a chef and an external nutritionist, based on their performance at the live competition. All other participants in the live event will also receive a prize.
All prizes will be mailed to the address provided by the participant, at the latest 10 July 2020.
By participating in this competition, participants agree to comply with these contest rules.
The employees, representatives and agents of the Organizer, as well as the members of the jury, cannot participate in this competition.
By participating in the Contest, any winning person authorizes, if required, the Organizer to use his name, his photograph, his image, his place of residence, his voice, his comments and / or his declarations relating to his prize for advertising purposes. , in all media including social networks, and this, without any form of remuneration and releases the Organizer from any responsibility with regard to damage or loss that may arise from their participation in this contest or the award, acceptance or use of the prize awarded.
Any dispute regarding the organization or conduct of an advertising contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
