Personal stories
Being part of the volunteer team at La Tablée des Chefs allows me to feel useful by contributing to a cause close to my heart: enabling people in need to feed themselves properly. Volunteering at La Tablée des Chefs is supported by a team of professional, motivated and generous people. Also, you get to meet other volunteers who share the same values of mutual aid and who want to have fun "working"! In short, I get as much out of this experience as I give!
Wow, what a great experience to be on this side of the table and help feed Quebec a little. It was a gratifying and most enjoyable experience to work alongside the exciting and enthusiastic chef Caroline Giguère and her team in the kitchens and at the various events. The beneficiaries of the Île d'Orléans volunteer association (ABIO, where I work as a volunteer), who receive emergency supplies, greatly appreciate the contribution of La Tablée des Chefs.
Having always been very spoiled by life, for me volunteering at La Tablée des Chefs, surrounded by a wonderful team, is a gesture of solidarity; it's giving back to the next person! It brings me a lot.
