Normand Laprise is one of the top chefs in the country. Thanks to his determination to make the work of Quebec producers respected, he has shown his sensitivity and big heart towards those who work to develop Quebec. Normand also believes that it is important to help others who cannot feed their everyday hunger. Normand lends his name and his time to our organization so as to encourage other chefs in Quebec to invest in one of the three areas of social engagement.

Ricardo is a food fanatic. He hosts his shows with an enthusiasm that is all his own and now brings this enthusiasmfor imparting culinary knowledge to The Chef Table. Ricardo is sensitive to the work of chefs who help young people to fight against poverty by sharing with them their culinary and nutritional knowledge. As a father, he considers it essential to transmit a passion for cooking and the joy of preparing a meal to young people. He also preaches putting the time to stop and appreciate this important family time, which is so often interrupted by the crazy cycle of our busy daily lives, back on the table. He is at the heart of our training activities and encourages us to continue to develop this interest in cooking in young people in underprivileged area.

Patrice Demers
Pastry chef and Co-Owner of restaurant Les 400 coups

Patrice is a young pastry chef with enormous talent. He is already recognized by many as one of the top pastry chefs in the country. Following a brief career as a magician, Patrice decided to pursue training in patisserie at École hôtelière de Laval. Since then, he has been Director of Creation at Laloux restaurant and managed the kitchen of Newtown restaurant with his sidekick Marc-André Jetté. Today, Patrice works at the restaurant Les 400 Coups, which he co-owns. Additionally, he has published two books and hosts the show Les desserts de Patrice on CanalVie. Parallel with his career, Patrice has been involved with The Chef Table for several years as a volunteer chef and now as a spokesperson for our organization. He is passionate, considering it important to feed youth in need, but even more important to nourish young people with culinary knowledge.

Danny St-Pierre

For Danny St-Pierre, life in the kitchen hasn’t slowed down since he left l’école hôtelière de Laval in 1994. Having worked in all spheres of the craft, from canteen to gastronomy, his experiences have shaped a creative style that serves him well. Training in Advanced Culinary Arts atITHQ in 1998 and two years in the employ of Toqué completed his training. A first chef’s post at Derrière les fagots in Sainte Rose allowed him to create his own style. In 2006, he joined Anik Beaudoin, his companion, to create a home restaurant service. In 2008, the big leap, the Auguste restaurant in Sherbrooke was born and the adventure continues!
