Meal preparation
La Tablée des Chefs gets chefs fom restaurants and catering establishments involved in meal preparation.Using surplus of food production or catering events, or even from raw materials bought for this purpose, they commit themselves to preparing meals that we distribute for free to the network of food banks throughout Quebec.
This way, the chefs get their teams involved in a very social activity. In addition to the dynamics that this activity can create within the team, it helps by feeding thousands of people directly within their communities.

The week of Quebec Hotel schools presented by the SAQ
This is a major event that gathers more than 600 cooking students in more than 13 hotel schools in Quebec. Young people are mobilized to prepare meals for the food banks of Quebec. This activity aims at sensitizing professional chefs to relieving hunger in Quebec, and also helps them learn about our organization before entry into the labour market. In March of every year more than 600 cooking students prepare more than 100 000 meals which are distributed to underprivileged families throughout Quebec.
